Dominique asked me to make five of her bridesmaids' dresses.
She wanted them all to wear the same colour blue and have mid-length, seven panelled skirts, but let each of the bridesmaids choose the bodices as each of them wanted something different! All the finished dresses looked great and co-ordinated very well.
The dresses were made in a pretty blue duchess satin that looked great with Dominique's light ivory lace wedding dress and the ivory flower girl dress.
I had an invasion of bridesmaids every time they came for fittings, but it was fun, with much laughter and lots of excitement at every visit!

Just a year after Dominique's wedding I was asked to make bridesmaids dresses for her sister Tamise.
It was great to meet the same bridesmaids again and this time was asked to make the brides mother's outfit also! Mum Anne is wearing the pretty dress and bolero that I made her in satin, chiffon and lace.
Tamise's five bridesmaids all wore full length dusky pink satin dresses, that were covered in soft chiffon and had fitted bodices, folds of chiffon were rouched up under the bust and over the shoulders. The skirts were fitted to the hip and cut very full at the hem.
Dominique's and the younger bridesmaids' dresses were styled differently to the others, to suit the younger bridesmaids age and the joy that Dominique was expecting a little girl!
Many thanks to Tamise for providing the photos of her wedding.
Once again many thanks for the beautiful bridesmaids dresses that you created. All the girls looked amazing and they all loved the dresses.
Best wishes, Tamise
Thank you so much for making my bridesmaids' dresses. They both looked fantastic on the day. We had a wonderful day and we would like to thank you again for being one of the many people who helped make it so special.
Lots of love, Mel
